WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:Under general supervision, schedules coverage for EMT & Paramedic crews. Maximizes equipment and manpower resources to provide the most cost effective and efficient pre-hospital emergency medical services to the communities in which Hall Ambulance Service, Inc. operates.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Maintains shift schedules for all EMT and Paramedic personnel. Assigns personnel according to pre-established and emergency shifts, including stand-bys.
Routinely tracks schedule status and updates master schedule.
Ensures all shifts are appropriately staffed. Communicates with On-Call Administrator and On-Duty Field Supervisors to identify and resolve any staffing shortages in the system.
Interacts with EMTs and Paramedics by phone, email, and scheduling system to fill all open shifts and shortages.
Confirms schedules according to the Company's contractual and policy parameters and ensures appropriate staff is available to meet those obligations.
Utilizes scheduling system to record or confirm schedule changes, verify staffing conditions, and verify shift availability.
Provides service to customers from the community to schedule special events stand-by service. Prepares quotes for service and tracks and coordinates collection of payment.
Maintains procedural documentation and control records relating to the schedule data. Provides scheduling and coverage reports to management as requested.
TRAINING & EDUCATION:The individual in this position must possess the following education requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Insurable by Hall Ambulance Service, Inc. driver's insurance policy including age minimum of 19 years old.
Valid & current Class C California Driver License.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lift objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
Ability to sit and type at a computer station for long periods of time.
Continuous listening and speaking ability required.
Pay range: $20-$22 per hour depending on experience.
