Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, bilingual (English/Spanish) Registered Dental Assistant or Dental Assistant who is a dependable team player with a passion for oral surgery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and takes pride in supporting a high standard of care.

Responsibilities:

. Prepare treatment rooms, patients, and instruments for oral surgery procedures.

. Assist the oral surgeon during surgical and non-surgical procedures.

. Take and process X-rays as needed.

. Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of instruments and equipment.

. Educate patients on post-operative care and answer any questions they may have.

. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.

. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.

. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining supplies inventory.

Qualifications:

. Minimum of 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in oral surgery.

. Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

. Valid California Dental Assistant certification and X-ray license.

. Strong understanding of dental and surgical terminology.

. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

. Team-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.

. Knowledge of dental software systems is a plus.
