ARC Document Solutions in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking a dedicated Large Format Print Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of producing high-quality prints that meet and exceed client specifications. If you are passionate about precision, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!In this role you will:Review Work Orders: Assess specifications for cutting or printing processes, including material details, dimensions, and tool specifications. File Management: Load and match cut or print files, ensuring accuracy and visibility of registration dots. Material Handling: Load materials onto cutting beds or printers, verifying correct settings and inspecting for defects. Equipment Setup: Set up machines for cutting or printing, inputting values such as tool bits, feed rates, and cutting depths. Routing/Cutting Operations: Program routers, change tool bits, and adjust settings for optimal cutting performance. Quality Assurance: Conduct test cuts or small print samples, making adjustments as needed to ensure top-notch quality. Equipment Monitoring: Monitor equipment throughout the job, ensuring proper functionality, and addressing malfunctions promptly. Preventative Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, adjusting, and replacing parts as necessary. Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and departments to foster cooperation and ensure timely delivery of prints. Quality Checks: Conduct thorough quality checks on finished products, deburring, and cleaning items as required. Documentation: Maintain accurate quantity counts and work order documentation. Production Flow: Advance cut or printed products to the next station in the production process. Cleanliness and Waste Management: Clean and vacuum cutting or printing equipment after each use, managing waste responsibly. Material Reuse: Store unused materials in designated areas for reuse. Requirements:Proven experience as a Large Format Print Operator or similar role. Proficient in handling routing/cutting equipment, flatbed printers, and roll-to-roll printers. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality prints. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
