What You Will Be Doing
Be part of a repair team and troubleshoot / repair cutting-edge-technology printed circuit boards
Work most of the day in a clean-room environment
Operate specialized testing tools, including high-end flying probe testers
Operate specialized repair tools, including Laser repair tools
Learn to detect and identify defects through adequate interpretation of key basic electrical results
Communicate with team lead and engineering department and assist with adequate repair planning
Perform repairs and document appropriately to insure traceability
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery and software, such as computers, emails, computer printer, etc
Frequently moves electronic parts and equipment weighing up to 15 pounds across the cleanroom.
Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday OR Tuesday - Saturday, second or third shift (2pm - 10pm OR 10pm - 6am)
What You Need for this Position
Requirements:
- Excellent track record and/or strong Interest in hands-on work
- Be able to work using stereoscopes and microscope. Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Familiar with basic electrical measurement tools (ex: voltmeter)
- Excellent track record with neat, organized, fast-pace work environments
- Have rudimentary understanding of Excel software
Preferable:
- Degree in electrical engineering or related discipline and/or certificate in soldering
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience in PCB or micro-electronics industry
- Work experience in a Clean Room environment
- Experience with MEMS (micro-electro mechanical systems) fabrication
- Experience in troubleshooting, and repairing PCB boards
- Proficient with Allegro, advanced Excel usability, and AUTOCAD
- Knowledgeable of Pick-and-Place operations
- Basic knowledge of Laser Repair Tools
Optional:
Familiarity with key process steps from micro-electronics industry, including Photolithography, Thin Film Deposition and Plating process.

Hourly Rate: $25 - $30/hour depending on experience
- Contract-to-Hire position (possibility of full-time conversion after 6 months)
