Description Our client is looking for an Insurance Referral Coordinator. As an Insurance Referral Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and facilitating the referral process within their insurance network. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a smooth and efficient referral workflow, collaborating with various stakeholders to guarantee timely and accurate processing.Key Responsibilities:
Receive and review insurance referrals from different sources.
Verify referral details and ensure all required information is complete.
Liaise with insurance providers to confirm eligibility and coverage.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to gather necessary information for referral processing.
Maintain clear communication channels to update stakeholders on the status of referrals.
Address inquiries and resolve issues related to referral processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all referral transactions.
Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance with insurance regulations.
Identify and rectify any discrepancies in referral documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Previous experience in insurance coordination or related roles.
Strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
Proficient in using relevant software and tools.
