Supervise the Front Office team, ensuring proper procedures are followed and guest interactions are favorable. Provide real time feedback and coaching for continued improvement of the team.

Review current day’s expected arrivals and check all VIP and special request reservations to ensure that they are pre-registered, blocked properly and other departments are notified of room assignment.

Assist in handling difficult situations, including but not limited to face to face interactions, phone calls, or electronic correspondence.

Maintain a daily log of all guests’ opportunities with corrective action steps. Follow-up on any unresolved situations in a timely manner and or pass to appropriate department manager.

Follow-up on billing and credit opportunities.

Develop and maintain programs to improve the operations of the Front Office team, upsell revenues, customer service scores, loyalty enrollments, and employee engagement.

Maintain all front desk related equipment and a par stock of supplies.

Create and manage weekly schedule and adjust accordingly to ensure budget guidelines are followed.

Perform duties as the Manager on Duty as needed.

May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Minimum of two years hotel front desk experience preferred.

Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Previous Marriott brand experience a plus including experience with FOSSE.
