Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Amusement/Recreation Ser/Entertainment industry. Based in Beverly Hills, California, this role requires a professional who can handle full cycle event accounting and has the ability to manage high volume tasks.Responsibilities: Lead the full cycle accounting process, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date Efficiently perform account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation tasks Execute bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved Maintain and manage the general ledger, posting journal entries when necessary Utilize Microsoft Excel for data tracking, analysis, and reporting Ensure a timely month-end close process Operate accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to manage financial data Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders, not limited to email Multitask effectively, managing various responsibilities concurrently Uphold accounting fundamentals, ensuring all financial operations comply with industry standards. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations Demonstrated ability to manage General Ledger and Journal Entries Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience in Month End Close activities Proficiency in using NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA certification preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Amusement/Recreation Ser/Entertainment industry Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work collaboratively with a team and foster a positive work environment.
