Description Robert Half is urgently seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Located in Brea, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position. This department offers prospects of career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk tasks will consist of matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.Responsibilities
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Perform full-cycle A/P
Execute additional tasks as needed
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Provide support during internal and external audits
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling Requirements - Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Microsoft Excel experience
1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
High attention to detail
