Job Description:Operating under detailed instructions and reviewing, the purpose of this position is to provide the essential technical knowledge and perform the work listed. The purpose of this position is to work on design and layout of complex scope and may serve as Design Area Lead. Job Duties: Creates, reviews and checks deliverables including the following but not limited to:o SLD’s, load lists, schematics, wiring diagrams, interconnection drawings, equipment lists, cable schedules, lighting layouts, cable tray layouts, cable tray fill reports, electrical installation details, grounding layouts, lightning protection layouts, JB layouts, E-House layouts Performs design calculations for lighting levels, raceway fill, cable sizing , voltage drop, OC protection devices, UPS sizing, JB sizing Checks drawings produced by suppliers and equipment / skid unit providers. Provides comments. Works from schematics, sketches and verbal instructions. May guide the work of less skilled designers and may act in a lead capacity.
