Description We are in search of a Data Entry Clerk for our Imports Team, based in Carson, California. As part of our logistics operations, you will be tasked with managing import customer service, maintaining our Cargowise system, and ensuring smooth data entry processes.Responsibilities Ensure manual data entry into the Cargowise system is executed accurately and swiftly Offer excellent customer service to import clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly Monitor customer accounts, making sure they are up-to-date and accurate Take appropriate actions based on customer account status Assist in the implementation of Cargowise, contributing to the improvement of our logistics operations Maintain comprehensive records of customer credit applications, ensuring they are processed efficiently Support the team in managing import containers, ensuring their proper handling in our logistics operations. Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience working within a logistics or similar industry. Proven experience in a data entry role. Proficiency in using Cargowise software. Strong data entry skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. High level of organization and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced working environment.
