The packaging position consists of building the days bread orders per customer specifications. This will include assessments of the quality of the final product, choosing the proper method and materials required, and then assessing the day's orders from the baker's sheets and invoices. This position requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work for 6 to 8 hours on your feet. You will be required to work with a sense of urgency and remain in constant communication with other staff members. The packagers are required to quickly familiarize themselves with all of or bakery products and the acceptable range of quality standards that we require.
Requirements:
-Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
-Basic math skills.
-Good hand eye coordination/ you need to move fast and work efficiently.
-The ability to exercise good judgment on the customer's behalf.
- The ability to lift heavy objects.
-18 years of age or older.
-Must be willing to work graveyard shift.
-Need weekend availability
Typical shifts: 12 AM to 6 AM
