Description We are currently seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Senior Accountant on a contract basis, with the potential for a contract-to-hire arrangement.Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles
Lead and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial reporting
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Stay updated on accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry best practices
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
CPA designation is highly desirable
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
