Product Marketing Manager

Description Position Descriptions:Reporting to the AVP of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager is tasked with overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, both for new and existing products. This role encompasses everything from strategic planning and conceptualization to product launch, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and equity. The Manager will lead initiatives aimed at delivering timely, high-quality product launches, overseeing aspects such as formulation, shade development, packaging, product copy, pricing, and cost management. Furthermore, the Manager will actively pursue emerging trends and opportunities to drive brand growth.Key Responsibilities: Initiate and ideate new product concepts through collaboration with Marketing, R& D, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams, as well as by participating in trade shows and conducting market research. Lead cross-functional briefing sessions for new product launches, ensuring clear communication of specifications, benchmarks, and timelines to internal teams and external suppliers. Monitor and drive progress on product submissions until desired attributes and performance standards are achieved. Collaborate with R& D, Sourcing, and Operations to ensure timely approvals, testing, and resolution of production issues. Develop and manage budgets, product forecasts, and Cost of Goods targets. Coordinate with Brand Marketing to ensure consistent product presentation, packaging execution, and communication. Facilitate timely delivery of product samples for various events and initiatives. Develop and maintain pricing strategies for the North American market and ensure global product compliance. Oversee packaging copy and design to accurately reflect brand messaging and product benefits. Analyze competitive products and present comprehensive insights. Conduct post-launch analyses to inform SKU rationalization and product assortment strategies. Represent the company at internal sales and external retailer meetings. Travel to factories and vendors for product development, shade matching, and approval processes. Gather market feedback through research and sales interactions to enhance product offerings. Mentor and develop product marketing team members. Fulfill other duties as assigned by management.Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, with a focus on FDM Color Cosmetics.Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on team development and recruitment. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision. Passionate about the brand and driving innovation. Ability to work quickly and confidently in a dynamic environment. Proficient in project management and multitasking. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and maintain strong business relationships.
