 Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and onboard U.S. customers for LTL, FTL and drayageNegotiate with transportation providers to obtain the best rates and serviceBuild carrier capacity by establishing and strengthening carrier relationshipsWith timeliness and attention to detail, thoroughly track and document all shipments assignedProvide shipment capacity forecasts to carriers and freight forwardersProvide spot logistics solutions and freight quotations to internal customers as neededEnsure the agreed service levels are met, drive correction actions where necessaryLead efforts to identify and implement continuous improvement processes that result in lower operational costsReview and verify invoices per service agreements and transportation schedulesCommunicate with buyers and buyer assistants in trucking needs
