Description We are looking for a proficient Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in the Hi Tech Engineering industry, based in Coachella, California. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will be tasked with leading the financial reporting process, consolidating financial data, and developing business analyses. This role also includes managing cost accounting activities, overseeing account reconciliations, and training the Accounting Team.Responsibilities Lead the monthly financial reporting and analysis process. Consolidate financial data for quarterly business unit presentations. Develop business analyses to identify areas to improve financial performance. Participate in cost productivity reviews and cost savings validations. Support business unit controllers in managing cost accounting activities. Monitor operational activities for compliance with internal control procedures. Coordinate all external audit activities, including timely provision of audit schedules. Oversee all account reconciliations to ensure timely completion. Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Train and develop all members of the Accounting Team. Evaluate the Accounting Team workload and streamline processes as required. Assist with system process improvements and upgrades. Undertake special projects as required. Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Proficiency in performing Auditing tasks. Familiarity with Billing Functions. Ability to manage Month End Close activities. Experience in Financial Consolidation. Skilled in preparing Financial Reporting. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. High level of integrity and dependability. Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role in an accounting department.
