Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Commerce, California. In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills in various accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning. Your primary duties will be to maintain financial records, process transactions, and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.Responsibilities: Reconcile bank statements on a regular basis Prepare journal entries for financial transactions and post them to appropriate accounts Utilize accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning tools to maintain accurate records Collaborate with the warehouse manager to manage and audit inventory levels Conduct investigations to resolve discrepancies and financial issues File sales tax forms and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Process accounts payable and receivable transactions Work on balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance Utilize ADP for financial services and Concur for expense management Perform regular audits to ensure all financial operations within the organization are running smoothly.
