Description Robert Half is in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Manufacturing field. The Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk role offers an exciting opportunity to make an indispensable contribution to the success of a company in the Manufacturing industry. Based out of the Corcoran, California area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary opening. In this dynamic department, there is an opportunity for career growth and quick advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk tasks will consist of matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.What you get to do every single day
Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Implement full-cycle A/P
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Provide support to internal business partners
Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents Requirements - 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
High attention to detail
Enter Invoices experience
Journal entries experience
