Description Apply your skills as an Accounts Receivable (A/R) detail oriented in this exciting position to join a growing, dynamic company from Robert Half. You will be responsible for entering, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining a cash receipting journal, and updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. This quickly growing team is searching for a self-starter to join the accounting team! Paying close attention to detail, you will process full-cycle AP and handle multiple invoices per week. This permanent opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk is in the Corona, California area.Your responsibilities in this role
Process payments and compiling segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP
Work with clients to solve payment issues; set up payment plans as needed
Reconcile bank accounts, recording and balancing financial information in a variety of ledgers
Follow standard procedures to execute general accounting tasks
Reply to information requests from stake holders, including shippers, customers, and the sales/marketing department
Confirm documents and codes are correct
Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization Requirements - Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Demonstrated analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
Great attention to detail
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
3+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
