The Technical Program Manager will engage with supplier engineers and the Apple cross-functional team to support development of core technologies that create new experiences for our customers. You will act as a link between Apple Design and supplier manufacturing processes, focusing on the details that produce brilliant products through high-volume manufacturing.Description
Production process development, documentation, optimization and validation for modules - Development and implementation of new technologies, equipment, and procedures to enhance production quality, capacity and efficiency - Optimization of assembly fixtures to ensure correct assembly and product performance for parts off the line - Analysis of potential operations improvement opportunities through detailed review of production data - Project leadership, including opportunity analysis, planning, schedule, resources, implementation, and reporting
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronics, or Industrial preferred), or graduate degree in supply chain and/or operations.
Relevant knowledge in manufacturing products, such as prototyping, machining, or automation.
Must be proficient in Tableau, able to create and interpret data visualizations and dashboards.
Must have relevant project management experience.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively in a worldwide environment.
Key QualificationsPreferred Qualifications
Manufacturing operations experience a plus.
Solid working knowledge of product design, and design for manufacturability.
Knowledge of GD&T principles.
Proficiency with data analysis using excel, JMP, or Minitab
