We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Team Members.Sr. Manager of Cost Optimization (Beverage Manufacturing)The Beverage team is a division overseeing Niagara’s service of beverage products to retail and branded customers. We leverage our strong analytical and execution competencies, detailed knowledge of the product and market, our ability to build and maintain positive relationships and our knowledge of Niagara’s core competencies to help grow Niagara’s beverage business. The Sr. Manager of Cost Optimization will drive the operational and financial success of their respective beverage customers. This position will focus on the success of the beverage business by working with and influencing cross-functional teams to ensure quality, service and other success metrics are met, operational projects are implemented and sustained and effective change management is achieved in order to meet the company’s strategic and financial goals. Working across the functional leadership of the organization, this position will design, implement and lead strategic improvement projects to elevate operational efficiency, overall service, and profitability.Essential Functions

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of key cost/process improvement and operational effectiveness initiatives

Develop process improvement initiatives to benefit Niagara and customer supply chains, involving suppliers, internal cross-functional teams, and customers

Review facility capability and environment (e.g., technology, systems, quality, efficiencies, yield, warehousing & distribution) in order to recommend and drive cost and process improvements.

Lead continuous improvement events resulting in KPI performance improvements.

Prepares plans, drives performance, and assures timely completion and achievement of product/process quality and savings goals

Identifies barriers to success and overcome obstacles

P&L owner of asset classes, with responsibility to analyze current profitability performance and identify/drive improvement opportunities

Responsible for operational KPI Oversight (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Reporting, etc.)

Leads programs and projects using project management tools and techniques

Travel Requirements: 10 - 20%

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree- Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field

Certified Lean Manager, preferred

6 Years – Experience LEAN/Six Sigma within Supply Chain

2 Years – Experience in Project Management

10+ Years – Operational management experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree- Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field

Certified Lean Manager, preferred

10+ Years – Experience LEAN/Six Sigma within Supply Chain

4 Years – Experience in Project Management

10+ Years – Operational management experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing

Competencies

Hands on experience using Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement Methods

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority

Experience in business transformation and process improvement roles using proven problem solving/continuous improvement methodologies

Experience with change management and influencing organizational culture change

Experience managing operational P&Ls

Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

Green Belt Certified preferred
