Quality Manager | Direct Hire | Downey, CA | $110,000-125,000 yr |Kelly is assisting with hiring a Quality Manager for a leading precision cleaning contractor. Specializing in cleaning components and hardware in Cleanroom facilities, extensive knowledge in industries such as pharma, biotech, aerospace or semi-conductors is required. This is a full-time Direct Hire role in Downey, CA with a salary range of $110,000-125,000/yr and full benefits. Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Quality, this position will manage the cleanrooms in the quality departments of the California locations. The Quality Manager will ensure that QMS conforms with ISO9001/AS9100 as well as managing the quality department. Job Responsibilities
Ensure the locations QMS conforms to latest requirements and adjusted/implemented accordingly.
Report to the Director of Quality on performance of QMS and collaborate on improvements.
Manage CAPA systems and collaborate with process owners to improve systems.
Oversee staff- including goal setting, inspections, ensure delivery of performance.
Oversee internal audit program.
Standardization and optimization of business processes for customer experiences.
Manage a team of individuals including training, development, appraisal and assigning work assignments.
Education/ Experience:
BS degree from accredited college OR 5 years of experience in quality management for industries such as pharma, medical devices, aerospace or biotechnology.
Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate and maintain integrity.
Comfortability with implementing change and encouraging positive work environments.
Experience with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 is required.
