Description We are searching for a resourceful, organized, and detail-oriented Business & Legal Affairs Attorney on a contract, remote basis. The candidate will be responsible for providing sound legal advice and guidance pertaining to the international gaming and e-sport industry.Responsibilities:
Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including licensing agreements, vendor contracts, non-disclosure agreements, SaaS and other related documents.
Provide advice on advertising, promotions, streaming and other legal issues and their potential legal risks.
Oversee compliance with legal regulations and maintain a strong understanding of laws related to the gaming industry.
Engage in extensive collaboration with internal teams and external interested parties.
Remain abreast of industry trends and understand the impact of new or amended laws to strategic and commercial arrangements.
Responsibilities: Provide legal counsel and support to an international gaming company Handle business affairs related to SaaS, licensing, advertising, and promotions Manage and negotiate commercial contracts for the company Ensure compliance with entertainment sports and leisure law within the company's operations Operate in the intersection of video games, SaaS, and Entertainment Companies Utilize knowledge of promotional advertising and social media advertising in legal counsel Assess risk related to the company's operations and provide effective solutions Stay updated with the latest trends in video streaming technologies and their legal implications Manage legal affairs of the company in relation to Entertainment Companies and Video Games.Requirements Must hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction A minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of law, specifically in Entertainment Proven experience with Entertainment Companies and Video Games industry Strong knowledge of SAAS - Software As A Service Familiarity with Promotional Advertising and Social Media Advertising Understanding of Video Streaming Technologies Experience in drafting and reviewing Commercial Contracts Ability to assess and manage risk effectively Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously High ethical standards and professional integrity.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
