Description Brief Overview:Join our dynamic healthcare facility team as a Patient Access Services Representative I. This role is pivotal to our operations, focusing on efficient patient admissions and registrations, accurate payment handling, and adherence to billing requirements. Ideal candidates will have diverse backgrounds, including recent graduates, individuals with limited experience in patient admitting/registration, or those with customer service expertise.Requirements Responsibilities:
Securely handle and record payments at the point of service.
Gain a foundational understanding of health insurance coverage options.
Address routine patient inquiries and perform service recovery.
Collaborate with experienced team members on complex registrations.
Greet patients and initiate the registration process with professionalism.
Meet productivity and performance indicators while prioritizing tasks.
Provide exceptional customer service to all encountered individuals.
Perform various duties across Patient Access Service operations.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience: One year of directly related work experience.
Skills: Effective communication, collaboration, computer literacy.
Knowledge: Medical terminology, including insurance coverage types.
