Job Description

• Manage and oversee the general accounting functions of a multi currency company.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Cash receipts and cash application transactions
• Treasury and banking duties including reconciliation of bank accounts
• Prepare, manage, and review tax liabilities and payments
• Review and analyze inventory movement and valuation to ensure proper financial statement presentation
• Reconcile annual physical inventory
• Manage and review payroll and associated liabilities
• Prepare, review, and analyze general ledger accounts and financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods and policies
• Month end and year end processes including preparing and keying adjusting journal entries
• Support annual audit and work with external auditors to ensure accurate financial presentation
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting or business studies
• High skill level in all MS office software including Excel and Outlook
• Two years business experience in similar position
