Description Our client in Fremont, CA is hiring for an Insurance Referral Coordinator. As an Insurance Referral Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of insurance referrals for their patients. You will collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal departments to facilitate timely approvals and coordinate patient care.Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end process of insurance referrals, including submission, tracking, and follow-up.

Verify insurance eligibility and coverage for patients.

Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorizations.

Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate appointments and services for patients.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of referral activities.

Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to insurance referrals.

Provide excellent customer service to patients and ensure a positive experience throughout the referral process.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Previous experience in insurance verification or referral coordination within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.

Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance policies, and procedures.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and tracking.
