Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Inventory Analyst located in the Bay Area. This role is integral to our operations, playing a key role in managing and optimizing our inventory processes. The job function involves working closely with various teams to ensure consistent inventory replenishment and projecting future demand for products. You will leverage your expertise in planning and inventory management to help streamline our inventory, minimize wastage, and enhance our sales.Responsibilities: Guide daily operations and actively engage with various teams to ensure smooth inventory management. Accurately investigate and resolve issues related to demand and maintain processes to continuously improve the accuracy of forecasts. Identify potential risks in the demand forecast and devise solutions to maintain optimum inventory levels and ensure customer satisfaction. Prepare and update forecasts for new products, seasonal goods, discounts, promotions, and new markets regularly. Develop effective cross-functional relationships with a broad group of business partners to reassess and perfect our strategies and daily practices regarding inventory management. Aid in creating annual budgets and cost-saving measures, and supply management with regular and spontaneous reports related to demand. Leverage expertise in planning and inventory management to project future demand for products, promotions, seasonal offerings, and new additions. Analyze vendor performance and customer demand to support our efforts to streamline our inventory, minimize wastage, and boost our sales. Use skills in Epic Software, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, IBM AS/400, Interface Engine, About Time, Auditing, Collection Processes, Communication, Customer Service, and Microsoft Excel to excel in this role.Requirements Possess proficiency in Epic Software for efficient inventory management Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is required Experience with IBM AS/400 systems Knowledge of Interface Engine for seamless data integration Proficiency in About Time software for accurate time tracking and management Skills in auditing and collection processes for inventory discrepancies Excellent communication skills for clear and concise information dissemination Strong customer service skills to address and resolve inventory-related concerns Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
