  ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs routine and preventative maintenance on tool sets; ensures tools are performing at optimum levels and within specificationTroubleshoots and resolves tool issues quickly and efficiently to ensure optimum tool up timePartners with engineering, vendors, or other groups to improve tool reliability, reduce Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to repair (MTTR), increase Mean Time to Preventative Maintenance (MTTPM), and resolve yield issuesPrepares data or documentation for daily/weekly pass down meetingsReads and interprets schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, and tool repair guidesRecommends improvements or changes to existing processes in support of continuous improvement initiativesResponds to inquiries from other team members, managers, or departmentsAdherence to all safety policies and procedures as requiredPerforms other duties of a similar nature or level
