Denham Resources has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper that has a Service Leader heart to work with our Non-Profit client.
Description
-Perform the day-to-day processing of accounting transactions
-Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices for discrepancies
-Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, record entries
-Produce and maintain invoices using job costing accounting
-Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
-Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other changes
-Ensure compliance with government and state regulations and reporting requirements
-Journal entries, account reconciliations, and perform month-end close
-Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts
-Support Accounting Manager as required
Requirements
- 4-5 years previous Bookkeeping experience required
- Accounting degree preferred depending on experience
-Supervisory experience required
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
-Attention to detail and accuracy
-Excellent communication, in both written and spoken word
- Reliable self-starter with Problem-solving and organizational skills
- Strong math proficiency
