Denham Resources is excited to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced Grower Accountant to join the team at our client’s esteemed produce brokerage firm.
Description
-Multiple entity work
-Ensure all grower information kept current including ID’s, commodity codes,
-Maintain pack out information and reports, receiving logs, tracking incoming shipments and address discrepancies
-Monitor and maintenance commodity pool reports and statements
-Work directly with other vendors and growers tracking advances, payouts, loan payments, and distributions
-Invoice and allocating funds to grower blocks
-cash receipt management
-Month-end/quarterly/year-end reports for grower pools and grower payments
-Reconciliations
Requirements
-5+ years of hands-on financial, grower accounting, cost accounting experience in an agricultural, food processing or relevant industry
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
-Famous software experience is a must
-Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook required
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Brokerage account experience
