Position Description:Position Summary:Lead Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, repairs and installations of a wide variety of equipment within Customer Care. They are also responsible for maintaining an accurate parts inventory on their Company vehicle. Lead Technicians spend approximately 30% of time driving a Company vehicle, 65% of time on-site at restaurants and food service establishments, and 5 % of time in classroom/meeting room facilities. In addition, this role will help support the Field Service Supervisor with training, coaching and providing on-site technical support to Field Service Technicians.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Calibrate and/or adjust equipment (e.g., check ratio) to meet orexceed performance criteria and maximize business results.

Maintain tools, equipment, and Company assets in good condition in order to ensure effective response to mechanical or technical problems.

Provides support and communicates effectively with all cross-functional partners.

Conducts/assists equipment and/or parts inventory.

Provide technical assessment of equipment to determine what components should be repaired or replaced to maximize equipment performance.

Provide equipment repair services in customer outlets.

Provide on-site technical support to team members as needed.

Communicate discrepancies in regards to open Purchase Orders and Disputed Invoice Tracking System(DITS).

Troubleshoot equipment issues (e.g., dispensing)

Provide technical advice for customers, business partners and Company associates in order to teach, provide expertise or validate equipment/parts or processes.

Maintain positive customer relationships.

Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner.

Maintain clean and safe work area.

Other projects or duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:Required Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or GED.

2 - 4 years of relevant experience (i.e. working in vending/fountain industry, general construction, electrician or plumbing industry, auto mechanic, or other mechanical areas).

Strong mechanical competency with the ability to demonstrate basic electrical theory & troubleshooting.

Ability to bend, kneel, climb and lift 50+ pounds.

Ability to handle exposure to all temperature changes, high noise levels, and safely working around moving equipment.

Basic computer skills, including mobile device technology.

Prior customer service experience.

Demonstrated mechanical, technical, and electrical aptitude.

Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.

Willingness to work flexible hours/shifts including overtime and weekends.

This position must pass a post-offer background check and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification.

Previous equipment repair and distribution.

Previous experience with food safety in a restaurant setting.
