Description Tyler Houk (Practice Director) with Robert Half is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in the farming industry, based in Fresno, California. As a Senior Accountant, you will undertake essential tasks such as managing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and aiding in budgeting and forecasting activities. Responsibilities: Accurately process and review financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Maintain oversight of daily accounting activities, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations Comply with all accounting standards and regulatory requirements Handle payroll and employee benefits accounting efficiently Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost analysis for farming operations Monitor cash flow and provide suggestions for financial improvements Collaborate with management to assess financial performance and provide insights for decision-making Supervise and guide entry level accounting staff effectively Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and tax filings Proficiently manage accounts payable/receivable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Accountant for a minimum of 5 years Proficient in account reconciliation, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations Extensive knowledge and experience in managing general ledger activities Skilled at preparing and posting journal entries Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Demonstrated experience with month-end close processesFor confidential consideration apply directly or reach out to Tyler Houk on LinkedIn!Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
