We are offering an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician, with good technical and people skills, to play a key role at our apartment community in Fresno, California.
Our Maintenance Technicians are an integral part of resident satisfaction. They are responsible for all preventive, corrective, and deferred maintenance plans.
Responsibilities:
Complete general maintenance tasks, including service requests, turnover-functions and curb appeal in timely manner
Troubleshoot and repair most major and all minor mechanical systems
Complete all work orders with minimal call-backs
Ensure property, vacant apartments and common areas are clean and free of trash
Work with and/or around paints, pool chemicals and other potentially hazardous materials
Provide professional customer service at all times
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in a maintenance role
Ability to function effectively in customer service atmosphere
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job
Available for emergency calls on weekends – trade off weekly with another technician
Groundskeeping Responsibilities Include:
Minor/routine service requests as requested by Property Manager
Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times
Inspect the community in the mornings to remove litter, and debris
Ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to start of make-ready process
Maintain grounds equipment in safe operating condition
May operate various small hand and power tools and other grounds maintenance equipment
Have tools
Clean and pressure wash areas of the property
Other duties as assigned
Working Environment:
You will work in both indoor and outdoor environments with moderate to loud noise levels. May work in controlled temperature conditions, cold and hot temperatures, or inclement weather conditions. You must interact courteously and professionally with residents, guests and staff and must follow all applicable policies and procedures.
