Job Title: Soldering Assembler- $20-21/hr Start ASAPJob DescriptionAn aerospace company that specializes in cockpit security systems, lavatory equipment, flight controls, and interior/exterior hardware is seeking an electro-mechanical assembler.Responsibilities
Assemble and rework electronic and electromechanical precision assemblies and subassemblies such as switches, syncros, potentiometer gear boxes, and circuit boxes.
Use hand tools and light power tools such as drill press, hand grinder, and sanders.
Utilize blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Complete soldering and wiring as required in completion of the product.
Perform electromechanical sub-assembly, soldering, coil winding, and solenoids.
Notify lead of shortages or inferior parts immediately.
Produce quality work with some inspection checks by Assembly Lead or Quality Control.
Exercise and maintain good housekeeping and safety principles in the completion of work assignments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience as an assembler in Aerospace for Assembler A position.
7+ months - 2 years of experience as an electro-mechanical or mechanical assembler for Assembler B position.
Experience in soldering and electromechanical assembly.
Proficiency with blueprints.
Experience using hand tools such as Phillips/flat screwdrivers, wire strippers, nut drivers, wrenches, cutters, and pliers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Blueprint reading and interpretation.
Experience with electromechanical assembly.
Knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Experience in aerospace industry soldering and mechanical assembly.
