Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk available for a long-term contract / temporary to hire vacancy on a quickly expanding team at a thriving company. Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, processing expense reports, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. Excellent communication, written and verbal are a must, as well as building relationships with vendors and other departments. Located in Gardena, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening.Responsibilities
Carry out additional projects as required
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Operate full-cycle A/P
Provide support during internal and external audits
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies Requirements - Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Proficiency in Coding Invoices
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Code Invoices experience required
