NOW HIRING A MAINTENANCE MECHANIC!(In Gilroy)Job Description:Maintain and repair all plant equipment for the Food Manufacturing plant, including boiler and wastewater systems, packaging department, and manufacturing food process machinery. The qualified candidate will be a full journeyman in the Maintenance department.Job responsibilities include but not limited to: Repair and maintain high-speed production equipment Practice safe work habits and wear proper PPE Follows proper lockout tag-out procedures as required Complete all OSHA required training, correct and report any unsafe conditions as necessary Complete work orders and assignments on time without errors as directed by supervisor ormanager Perform package changeovers on equipment as required Perform preventive maintenance inspections, adjustments, and repairs as indicated on theCMMS program Participate in daily meetings and reports maintenance department objectives and opportunities Install / rebuild equipment Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic devices and hydraulic systems Develop preventive maintenance needs and hydraulic systems Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical problems of food processing and industrial machinery in atimely mannerAdditional requirements: High School Diploma Required Electrical and mechanical certification is a plus Must have hands-on knowledge of boiler, mechanical fluid power, pneumatic systems. Familiar with machine shop environment Must be able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, repair and maintain all equipment in accordance with the plant’s policies and procedures Must be able to work with minimal supervision Must have a good understanding of preventive predictive maintenance operations Ability and willingness to work 12-hour shifts and the flexibility to work on a flexible full-time schedule and that may include weekends and holidaysLogistics:
