You would be a part of the Finance team responsible for Publishing, Branded Retail and Division Planning.What You Will DoYou would be responsible for the day-to-day workings of the leader(s) you support. We support the team that commercializes our Intellectual Properties which in turn brings joy to families and kids through wide distribution of products. It goes without saying that there will be expense reports, travel planning and endless calendar jockeying, but this job is very much about people. The relationship you form with the executive(s) you support is absolutely critical, because that’s what enables you to become a true partner. In addition to understanding your executive’s business and business needs inside and out, you’ll also need deep knowledge of the leadership and workings of DCP and related departments across the Disney enterprise. As the “face” of your executive(s) within The Walt Disney Company, your professionalism, loyalty and attitude are a reflection of the office, and as such, are a key component to its success.
Thoughtfully manage complex calendars
Manage Travel & Entertainment expenses for your team
Book Travel for your leader and/or team and build travel itineraries
Proactively resolve problems and pitch in to help
Coordinate onboarding/offboarding of team members
Track team time off using Labor Reports in SAP
Plan recognition and team events
Order supplies and equipment along with other office management duties
Protect Executive’s time through strategic and proactive calendar management and vetting a variety of meeting requests
Required Qualifications & Skills
At least 2 years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management
Proven success partnering and interacting with all levels of Cast Members/Employees including Executive Leadership
Strong proficiency with standard office tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Generally tech savvy and willing to learn new skills
Professional and highly discreet while maintaining absolute confidentiality
Ability to be pro-active, resourceful, flexible, and responsible
Ability to take initiative and anticipate needs
Extremely well organized and attentive to detail
A calm head and steady hand to deal with the unexpected;
Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines/deliverables;
Some flexibility in your schedule – we value work/life balance, but in a pinch, a bit more time is needed; Very strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail; and A highly professional demeanor, positive outlook and a can-do attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting at the Director level
Experience working with SAP and Workday
Good knowledge of DCP and the Disney Experiences Segment
EducationHigh school degree or equivalent experienceThe hiring range for this position in California is 50,000.00 to 66,900.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
