This role will interface with a wide variety of partners across the Company, including Regional and Global teams in DTC Finance, Programming, Creative, and Operations. You will work closely with key senior leaders in these areas to set Disney+ content financial plans while establishing clear communication and aligned objectives throughout the fiscal year. Build and track Disney+ programming budgets for Disney Entertainment TV Network and Library Content through short-term and long-term planning cycles, as well as ad hoc analysis

Collaborate with Disney Entertainment and Regional DTC FP&A teams to oversee and communicate content investment and P&L forecasts

Partner with Programming, Content Planning & Analysis, and other global teams to support strategic and operational decision-making

Create, improve, and maintain department financial reporting tools and processes

Create and communicate executive summaries that headline the financial health of DETV

Partner with Controllership teams across the company to set up reporting structures and interpret changes in content accounting treatment

Stay up to date on SVOD industry trends amidst a rapidly changing landscape

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:Oversee the financial planning of DETV content budgets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-makingRequired Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in entertainment finance

Bachelor’s degree required (emphasis in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred), CPA or MBA is a plus

Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues

Expert knowledge of Excel, including building models from the ground up

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize ideas and issues to Executive management

Strong attention to detail without losing sight of broader objectives

Ability to drive and implement process improvements across key activities

Ability to work well in teams, both within the group and also with other business units

Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

SAP and Cognos experience is a plus

The hiring range for this position in CA is $92,742.00 – $124,410.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.   • The Technical Director II is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the technical and creative fidelity of animated projects and works in all phases of the postproductions process. This ranges from ingesting materials from our partner studios, executing creative or technical shot work through our mastering and finishing pipeline. The ideal candidate is comfortable digging into complex shots created by our international animation partners and improving them with surgical precision and artistry. Extensive knowledge of all stages of 2D/Harmony production including Importing, creation of new scenes, compositing, and the file structure of ToonBoom Harmony is required. This position requires technical skills combined with refined artistic skills, including an eye for composition, color, and lighting and a strong knowledge of animation principles. Extensive knowledge of the CG Pipeline with respect to assets, including Character, Prop, Sets and VFX. This position works closely with the Studio Lead Technical Director, Creative Leadership, Series Leadership, Production and other Technical Directors in the studio. When required this position will also participate in ongoing pipeline improvement efforts as software use continues to grow and evolve.
