Blue Ribbon Personnel Services is actively looking for a referral coordinator for one of our clients, a medical outpatient facility, in the Grass Valley area.
The ideal candidate would have an excellent background in medical administration and referrals, comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls and patient requests. An excellent demeanor and ability to work well under pressure is needed.
Duties include:
> Handling referral inquiries and requests within network.
> Managing patient accounts and information.
> Scheduling and calendar management.
> Some insurance verification and processing.
> High volume of phone calls, ensuring information accuracy.
> Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
> High school diploma or equivalent.
> Minimum two years' experience in medical administration/records.
> Familiarity with MS Office.
> Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
> Adherence to all HIPAA standards.
Candidates must be able to successfully pass a drug and background screen upon initial job offer.
