Position: CNC Operator
As a CNC Operator, your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain CNC machinery, specifically NewCNC brand equipment, to produce high-quality custom cabinet components. You will be expected to read and interpret detailed cabinet production drawings and specifications to ensure precise machining. Quality control is a critical part of the role, and you will be required to monitor output, make necessary adjustments, and ensure components meet the required standards. Collaboration with the production team is essential to maintain workflow efficiency and meet project deadlines. Additionally, maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment is a key part of the job. The role involves working with various industry-specific software and systems including MOZAIK for design and cutlists, VECTRIC VCarve Pro for CAM programming, and Production Coach for shop floor management, along with daily operation of NewCNC equipment.
Qualifications
Experience operating CNC machinery (cabinetry experience preferred)
Familiarity with Mozaik and Production Coach is an asset
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
