We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)/Dental Assistant (DA) who is dependable, compassionate and able to thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is someone who can multitask efficiently, learn quickly and maintain a calm, positive demeanor under pressure. Must be reliable, punctual and detail oriented. Knowledge of infection control and HIPAA regulations is a must.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with with OSHA and infection control protocols
Take diagnostic digital x-rays and impressions
Maintain accurate and complete patient records
Record patient medical and dental histories
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op care
Occasional front office support
Balance multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
Qualification:
Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license - OR - X-ray and Coronal Polish Certifications
Current CPR/BLS certification
Excellent communication and organization skills
