Find your future with us.Logistics support activities includes all activities that are required to support an Operations and Maintenance contract for a fielded system including helping identify and resolve customer supply support system inventory discrepancies. The logistics support person investigates total system demand management, replenishment and electronic data systems, monitors logistics system performance, solicits customer feedback and takes action to improve satisfaction. Particulars of the job also include:Position Responsibilities Include:

Insuring repair area conforms with Boeing lab excellence standards.

Managing the stock room.

Inventory management using appropriate software tools and systems.

Arranging shipping and receiving of equipment with various groups including commercial shippers like FedEx, UPS, USPS as well as customer groups.

Facilities management for test area and car port area.

Must be able to lift and move equipment within the parameters of the Boeing safety requirements.

Leverage knowledge of government property and security processes to handle and manage government property.

Instill FOD awareness in repair and stock areas.

Interface with internal and external customers that include: FSR Project Manager, FSRs, engineers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location (Huntington Beach, CA).This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor Degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

1 or more years of experience with operations and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.

Ability to lift 35 or more pounds during a shift.

Experience working with safety and quality processes and procedures.

Experience using a computer based inventory management system.

Typical Education/Experience:Associate: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).Mid-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
