We are seeking a full-time Production Accounting Clerk to handle the
manufacturing job/work order accounting close process, customer invoicing and other accounting
functions. The duties are performed in the Epicor ERP system, so experience transacting in an ERP
system is preferred. This full-time position is located in Riverside, Calif. and offers benefits and a pay
range of $23-$25 per hour.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Complete and close manufacturing jobs (work orders) related to inventory and labor
transactions by reviewing production transactions and manufacturing variances on a timely
basis, ensuring accurate inventory costs.
Perform job cost correction & adjusting entries for inventory valuation if necessary.
Prepare adjusting and closing journal entries for month end close related to revenue and
cost of goods sold.
Generate invoices to customers in Epicor ERP system, verify shipping and pricing
documentation to ensure accuracy.
Record customer payments by matching payments to invoices, and perform regular
collection emails and calls.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
Maintains and updates customer master file in Epicor ERP system.
Responsible for month end inventory reconciliation in Epicor ERP system.
Assist in providing supporting documentation needed for audit.
Prepare & send daily reports for management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required education, experience and abilities:
2+ years of accounting or manufacturing production experience, with a focus on accounting
for inventory.
Technical skills to include strong excel skills and experience working in manufacturing ERP
system.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Must be able to participate in E-Verify
