Job Title: Hotel Laundry Attendant

Key Responsibilities:
Laundry Operations: Operate commercial washers and dryers to launder linens, towels, blankets, and guest laundry. Follow proper washing, drying, and folding procedures to ensure items are clean, fresh, and neatly presented.
Sorting & Pre-Treatment: Sort laundry by type and color, and pre-treat stains as needed to ensure optimal cleanliness.
Inspecting Laundry: Ensure all items are in good condition. Report any damaged or stained items to management for further action.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the laundry area clean and organized, ensuring the environment is safe and hygienic. This includes wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and maintaining laundry carts.
Restocking Linens: Assist in replenishing clean linens and towels to guest rooms, dining areas, and other parts of the hotel as needed.
Inventory Control: Monitor linen inventory levels, notify management when supplies are low, and ensure the proper storage of clean linens.
Adhering to Safety Procedures: Follow all safety protocols when using laundry machines and handling cleaning agents.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure an adequate supply of clean linens and towels for guest rooms and public areas.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in laundry/ housekeeping is a plus but not required.
Attention to Detail: Ability to identify stains, damage, and ensure linens are cleaned and folded to hotel standards.
Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand for long periods, lift and carry heavy items (up to 25-50 lbs.), and handle repetitive tasks.
Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks within the required timeframe.
Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
