Starting at $19 an hour, can go up based on experience
Requirements
Experience and knowledge of basic and intermediate cooking techniques and methods.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Can remain calm under pressure.
Ability to multitask.
Strong communication ability with other staff members.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and standards of sanitation.
Primary Duties:
Responsible for food prep and cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Be efficient with time and multitasking. Being an effective team player is crucial in working with other kitchen staff.
Keep the area clean.
Responsible for proper storage of products in the walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer as well as keeping dry storage organized.
Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Sweeping and mopping your kitchen area at the end of the shift.
Stamina to work 6-hour shifts in a fast-paced kitchen.
