The Rustik Fork is a full-service, farm-to-fork, scratch kitchen restaurant in Riverside with a focus on organic, locally sourced ingredients. We’re growing our team and are currently hiring for two key kitchen roles: Sous Chef and Line Cook. Sous Chef (Full-Time)
Responsibilities:
Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations
Lead and inspire the culinary team in food preparation and execution
Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
Assist with menu development and seasonal specials
Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health/safety standards
Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control
Qualifications:
2–3 years experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent leadership role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of organic and farm-to-table cuisine preferred
Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Passion for creativity and consistency in the kitchen
