We are seeking a commercial skilled block foremen, mason, and tenders to assist to work on various construction projects in the Southern California areas.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and cleaning construction sites
- Transport materials and tools to the work area
- Mix mortar, grout, and other materials
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
- Perform general labor tasks as needed
- Manage a 10+ crew size
- Layout building lines and embeds
- Implement company safety policy procedures
Experience:
- Experience in masonry commercial industry preferred as a foreman
- Knowledge of blueprint reading is a must for the foreman position
- 5 – 10 years experience desired
- Read Plans Fluently
- Can do rebar Takeoffs and orders
- Productively Run a large Crew
- Look ahead and schedule accordingly
- Very organized and Great communication Skills
- Osha 10,
- Forklift and scaffold certifications desired
- Implement safety program, Tail Gate Safety Meetings etc.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions diligently
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks
- Capacity to run commercial projects
- Experienced in Self Storage projects is a plus
NOTE
You'll need to come into our office to fill out an application located in Santa Ana.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
