Operations Manager for Rapidly Growing Company
Position: Operations Manager
Location:Corona
Compensation:
- Initial three months at $60,000
- After three months, salary increases to $65,000
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations from opening to closing, ensuring all departments follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Ensure all employees complete their scheduled hours without unnecessary overtime or insufficient hours.
Ensure 100% accuracy in our systems, maintaining high standards in order processing and inventory management.
Lead the transition from our current systems to a new automated system, ensuring a smooth and efficient changeover.
Operate and oversee the use of warehouse machinery, including turret and standup forklifts.
Step in to assist with order picking and putting away items when the team is overwhelmed, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment.
Make decisions regarding hiring additional staff for order picking and putting away, balancing cost and operational needs.
Maintain a strong commitment to the company's logistics, including availability to work on holidays, weekends, and during peak periods as needed.
Bring innovative ideas and solutions to improve operations and contribute to the company's growth.
Follow the owner's goals and directives, maintaining a respectful and collaborative relationship.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in warehouse management and operations.
Experience with transitioning from traditional systems to automated systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to operate warehouse machinery, including turret and standup forklifts.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
