Full time positions, general labor duties in a fast paced environment. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Duties include (but not limited to) Palletizing/Picker/Parcel Packer, Loading & Unloading (LTLs/Containers), Forklift operation.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving, and optimizing warehouse processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving
- Implement and maintain best practices for warehouse management to maximize efficiency
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and transportation management systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management
- Oversee fleet management activities to maintain vehicles and optimize transportation logistics
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all warehouse activities
- Support daily warehouse job assignments whenever short staff or large job requirements
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management, including knowledge of distribution center operations
- Strong background in operations management, with expertise in dispatching, shipping/receiving, and inventory control
- Familiarity with transportation management systems and logistics software
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence
