Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Smog Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in various mechanical tasks. This role requires hands-on experience with test and repair, must be familiar with cap program. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing failed smogs, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and necessary repairs.
Execute routine vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and high-quality service delivery.
Document all repairs and services performed on vehicles for record-keeping purposes.
Experience
Proven experience in automotive service or as a mechanic is essential.
Familiarity with smog repair techniques is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools specific to automotive repair.
Previous experience test and repair is a must
