Requirements
1+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with some exposure to Workers' Compensation cases
Strong negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients' interests
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school
Must hold a current California State Bar License in good standing
Responsibilities
Attend depositions, trials, hearings
Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes
Communicate regularly with clients, offering clear, empathetic, and professional guidance throughout the process while providing updates on case status
Stay updated with the latest changes in workers' compensation laws
